1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all eSIM products and services provided by Roampass.

Roampass eSIMs are classified as:

  • digital content, and
  • prepaid telecommunications services

2. Right to Cancel (Legal Notice)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel.

However, in accordance with Regulation 37, this right does not apply once:

  • delivery of digital content has begun,
  • with the customer’s prior consent, and
  • acknowledgment that the right to cancel will be lost

By purchasing an eSIM from Roampass, you:

  • request immediate delivery of the digital product, and
  • acknowledge that your right to cancel is waived once delivery begins

Once the eSIM is delivered, the right to cancel no longer applies.

3. Nature of the Service

Roampass eSIM products are prepaid digital telecommunications services.

Upon purchase:

  • network resources are allocated immediately
  • services are provisioned in real time
  • allocated resources cannot be reversed or reclaimed

As a result, once provisioned or activated, the service is considered consumed.

4. No Refund After Activation or Usage

Once an eSIM or data plan has been:

  • delivered or provisioned
  • installed on a device
  • activated on a network
  • or any data usage has occurred

 the service is considered used and non-refundable

This applies regardless of:

  • connection quality
  • network speed
  • signal strength
  • or user expectations

Even minimal usage (including 1KB of data) constitutes full consumption of the service.

5. Prepaid and Irreversible Nature

All services are provided on a prepaid basis.

This means:

  • payment is immediately used to allocate network capacity
  • allocated capacity cannot be returned, reused, or transferred

Therefore, prepaid services are non-refundable once provisioned or activated.

6. Eligible Refund Cases (Limited)

Refunds will only be considered in the following cases:

6.1 Non-Delivery

  • eSIM was not delivered

6.2 Activation Failure (Verified)

  • QR code invalid
  • installation or activation fails due to system error

 Resolution process:

  1. replacement eSIM
  2. technical support

If unresolved → refund

6.3 No Service (Zero Usage Only)

  • eSIM cannot connect to any network
  • no data usage is recorded

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

After Activation or Usage

  • any data usage detected
  • successful activation

Network or Coverage Conditions

  • slow speeds
  • weak signal
  • unstable connectivity

Network performance depends on local operators and cannot be guaranteed.

Customer-Related Issues

  • device not eSIM compatible
  • incorrect purchase
  • inability to install or configure
  • travel changes

Regulatory or Regional Restrictions

  • government-imposed restrictions
  • blocked applications
  • network filtering or monitoring

8. Evidence and Determination

Refund eligibility will be determined based on:

  • activation records
  • network usage data
  • system logs

These records shall be considered final and conclusive evidence.

9. Limitation of Liability

Roampass does not operate the underlying telecommunications networks.

Therefore, we do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted service
  • network performance
  • availability in all locations

Service quality depends on third-party network providers.

10. Legal Use

Users are solely responsible for how the service is used.

Roampass shall not be liable for:

  • illegal activities
  • misuse of the service

Roampass reserves the right of final interpretation of this Refund Policy.
